Story of Hope and Transformation
Nearly three decades ago, a shared dream took root between passionate Indian educators and an American philanthropist, united by an unwavering belief in education as the key to lasting change. This vision called for providing quality English medium education to children in rural India - particularly girls - who faced lives defined by hardship, not opportunity. Together, the founder established New Song School in the small village of Regerla, Telangana, with a mission to open doors that had always remained closed to underprivileged youth.
Today, New Song School nurtures around 600 students each year, guiding young minds between kindergarten and 10th grade toward knowledge, self-worth, and lifelong hope. The school is more than a building; it is a beacon for families who once saw education as out of reach. Each lesson shared, scholarship awarded, and child empowered drives genuine transformation, helping to end cycles of poverty and gender inequality that span generations.
Wilbur Family Charitable Group honors this heartfelt legacy by continuing to invest in bright futures through sponsorship, educational support, and community inspiration. The journey is woven with compassion, cultural respect, and an enduring promise: to give every child the chance to rise beyond circumstance and lead their communities into a new era of opportunity and dignity.
